The testing machine for static and semidynamic tensile and compression  tests of  load  specimens weighing up to 10 MN (1000 t)  has been built and installed in the year 2000 by INSTRON USA. This testing machine is used for determinations of the tensile strength of big-sized steel wire ropes , but seen its technical equipment and available space for test specimens it meets all requirements of an universal testing machine.

Seen that tests are carried out in the closed testing machine the inside of the test machine with the test specimen is monitored with a swivelling armour plated camera which is directed from the control room with the help of a video display station, recorder, analogical system of data recording, PC digitalisation and a special film cutting and archiving programme.
